Please join us in welcoming Mike Anewalt, our new Project Manager in Commercial Construction at the Memphis Branch of Michael Hatcher & Associates.
“I’m still getting my feet wet, but I love it,” said Mike, whose first day on VP of Construction Sales Stephen Shikle’s team was October 15. “This is what I like to do. Everyone is really friendly and helpful, and it’s good to have a support team here. It’s a nice change.”
A graduate of the School of Landscape Architecture at Mississippi State University, Mike has 30 years of experience working for two other landscape companies in North Mississippi and welcomes the opportunities his new role provides.
“I’ve heard a lot of great things about Hatcher Landscape over the years, and I’m looking forward to being part of this environment,” he said, noting the help he’s received from Stephen and teammates Colton Gidden, Jason Luckett, and Katie Thomas-Merritt.
When he’s not performing takeoffs and estimates, analyzing and interpreting bid documents, and visiting jobsites, Mike enjoys fishing, skiing, gardening, and spending time with his family.
“I’m a father of five – four boys and one girl,” he said. “I have two grandsons, and a wife who keeps it all together.”
